Back to school

Its hard to say, but school is almost here. I'm actually a little excited to go back because I'm going into middle school next year. It will be a whole new atmosphere for me. Yesterday I got a new back pack and new lunch box. There are a couple other things that I need to get before school starts like a pad lock and a gym bag. We had a summer reading assignment on the book "Black Beauty."I finished it today, and it turned out to be a really good book. I ended up enjoying it very much! We are supposed to do a project on the book and it is due 2 weeks after school starts, but I'm going to try to finish it before school starts. I'm excited, and can't wait for school to start!

This summer.........

I know its been a while. But this summer has just been so busy! I went to cheer camp,church camp [student life for kids],Great Wolf Lodge, and we are going to Disney World this August!!! I am actually a little excited to go back to school! It will be a whole new atmosphere for me going into middle school. I'm also excited to see all my friends again! I'm hoping that it will cool down in Sherman,Texas. We have been going through a heat wave for the last two or three weeks; it has been 97 degrees or higher! we will be praying for cooler weather!

Snow!

On Sunday, January 8th, it snowed in Sherman,Texas! When we were all at church it was snowing outside! Everyone was so excited! That night me and my brother Ty went to a friends house to play in the snow. Ty doesn't like to get wet so he stayed inside. Oh brother! Me and my friend had so much fun! We probably stayed out there for at least 2 hours. We got that Monday off. Thank goodness! On Monday the whole family went sledding. We had such a fun time! Because of the snow, on Tuesday we got to go to school at 10:00! On Tuesday afternoon the snow started to melt. Aw! Right after school the family went sledding again! We all had a fun time. Thank you God for the snow!
